4th of July, Wimberley style.....

What a great time we had at the annual Wimberley 4th of July parade! We were there bright and early with our milk and donut holes to get our spot. After lots and lots of waiting and "how many more minutes, Momma?"... the parade finally started. The boys came home with a ton of candy! They got so much it almost looks like Halloween around here!!
Thank you Hembree family for spending the morning with us.

After the parade, it was off to Nana and Papa's for some swimmin' and BBQ. We had hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, dips and to top it off - homemade vanilla ice cream with peach cobbler!! Goodness, I think we could have fed 5,000 with all the food we had.

The boys had fun with light sticks and poppers ( I think Daddy, Papa and Uncle Matt liked them just as much as Hayden and Reed). After all of that, it was inside to play a couple of games of "Scene It" and I am sad to say the Girls (me, Mom and Vanessa) lost to the boys (Dad, David, Matt, Hayden and Reed) not once but TWICE!! We seriously need some more girls in this family!! All in all a very fun filled day and we can't wait till next year!

Okay now, you can't change your background and NOT give us another post. You're fired.
